_ Our worship service is structured yet informal meaning we plan… yet try to be sensitive and flexible to allow the Holy Spirit to do what He wants to do in our hearts.  Isn’t that the purpose of worship... to be changed from being in His presence ? (Isaiah 6)

We do print a program with relevant information, song lyrics and/or music and a sermon outline but don’t include an “Order of Service.”  That way we are free to anticipate what God has for us and believe that keeps our hearts "expecting."  The goal is to have a genuine worship experience and then have that experience be relevant enough to our lives that we go out and live the "Christ-Life" for all to see.

So... what's the service like?  We begin with some preliminary announcements along with a time of greeting each other.  After that the focus is on "WORSHIP" and the "WORD" because that's where the power.  Think of it this way.  Given the option, most people enjoy flying "non stop" rather than having a "lay over" at another airport. We approach wor worship the same way.  All the start and stop motions of "get up, sit down, say this, do that" have been minimized to create a more natural flow from the beginning to the end.  We love getting to the end wondering how we got there.

We don't ask for prayer requests just to have another person repeat them as if God didn't hear them the first time.  Instead individuals praise and pray for what matters most to them and in spirit the rest of us come along side them while they pray.   And since a church is a "faith based" organism, people have the opportunity to express their thanks to God through the giving of what's called "Tithes and Offerings."

Our time together doesn't end with the last "Amen."  We continue with an informal "stay if you can" fellowship time in our entrance way where people can drink a variety of beverages, eat some delicious homemade goodies and simply talk about "whatever!"

Finally, most people dress casually in a “you never know what we might do after church” kind of way.  God’s more interested in “why” we’ve come than in “what” we’re wearing when we come.  So dress as casual as you'd like or dress as fancy as you'd like.

Does all this sound inviting?  We hope so because we would love for you to come and check it all out some Sunday morning starting at 10:00am.
